SICILY Ultimate Travel Guide | All Tourist Attractions | Italy
Sicily (Sicilia) is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and one of the 20 regions of Italy. Sicily has 5 million inhabitants, with Palermo as its capital and Mount Etna as its most famous landmark. Sicily is located in the central Mediterranean Sea, south of the Italian Peninsula, from which it is separated by the narrow Strait of Messina.
For centuries it has been the crossroads of Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The imprints left throughout the past centuries from all these diverse cultures has created Sicily’s unique identity, rich in history and extraordinary food. Today, Sicily is home to 7 UNESCO World Heritage sites and attracts over 15 million tourists each year.

I'm telling you right off the bat, this is a goofy episode. It probably doesn't do the wonderful city of Oxford justice. Or maybe it does. Maybe this is a unique look at Oxford from the perspective of people who lived it and loved it. All I know is that it was fun to make and probably the episode with the most heart.
In our Oxford travel guide, I'm joined by my brothers Andrew and Will who both went to university in Oxford. I'm also joined by Will's uni flat mate and dear friend, filmmaker Nick. And if you look closely, you may even get a rare "'in front of the camera" glimpse of Greg.
Oxford is full of surprises. And I was glad to be shown around by the experts who could get beneath the veneer of this beautiful city and introduce to some Oxford classics. Enjoy!

Welcome to Cyprus!
On this road trip across the south coast of Cyprus, I’m exploring Cyprus’ most amazing destinations. I’ve done the research, and chosen these must-do activities that will help you plan the perfect trip. Right! It’s time to share with you 9 of the most fantastic things to do on this beautiful island.
The awesome power of nature is everywhere in Cyprus, and my first fantastic thing to do illustrates that perfectly - Avakas Gorge. Be sure to bring some comfortable shoes - there’s a short but lovely hike on the way to the gorge.
Okay, so this is the Avakas Gorge trail that we're going to follow. It's very hot, it’s very dry, we’ve dosed up on sun cream, got tonnes of water in the bag and got about a 2-3km trek to go and find the Gorge. So yeah, let’s get walking!
Like I said, it’s a popular tourist destination, so you can expect to see some tour groups on your walk. The tourist presence doesn’t ruin the appeal. A lot has been done to protect the area. It’s prohibited to pick any plants here, and animals roam freely. You’re completely surrounded by natural beauty.
The walk to the gorge sort of serves a double purpose. The blue sky, the lush green foliage - it sets you up for the shock of finally turning that corner and seeing the walls of the gorge.
The gorge is 3km long, and the walls reach up to 30 metres high. These sheer rock walls are so tall that you’re completely protected from the sun, and the cool breeze blowing through the gorge is so nice after a warm and sticky hike.
The river is low and calm under foot - but during the winter month, the river levels rise and the small stream becomes a torrent. This sense of danger isn’t just under foot- it’s also overhead.
So there's a rock here which is wedged between the cliff faces and it looks pretty ominous! Looks like it’s about to drop.
Beware that some of the mountain roads to get here can be quite tight and get busier as the day goes on. Something to note if you’re a nervous driver.
So here’s a bonus tip for you - right next to wonderful thing to do number 3 is a fantastic restaurant called Oniro By The Sea.
Fantastic food, refreshing cocktails, sea views - Oniro has everything, and I can’t recommend enough that you make it a stop on your trip and it’s just a stone’s throw away from our next destination. In fact, you can probably see it from your table.
It’s just a 5 minute walk from the restaurant at most - the shipwreck of the Edro III.
So that the Shipwreck behind me is quite a sight and it’s been here for just under 10 years now. So apparently back in 2011 it embarked for Rhodes, one of the Greek Islands.
But never made it, because it hit a freak storm and ended up being caught up on the rocks here just off the coastline.
So apparently people fled there, they made it safe, they took out the fuel as soon as they could, so that the oceans weren’t polluted and now? It makes for a rather nice photo opportunity as you can see down there.
I couldn’t help myself - I had to get closer to the ship. The rocks are very rough in places, but I’m so glad I did - getting just that little bit closer to the shipwreck was so awe-inspiring.
The clear water and crashing waves were hypnotising. But if you want even more bang for your buck, just 200 metres from the wreck are sea caves carved into the cliffs.
A great opportunity to walk down the lunch, take some gorgeous holiday pictures, and get one last look at the shipwreck before heading to your next destination.
Coral Bay Beach is widely regarded as one of the best beaches on the island. That’s right, it only took me three Things To Do until I wanted to hit the beach, and it’s the most visited beach on Cyprus’ West Coast.
It’s easy to see why - it’s got fine, white sand, calm, clear water - everything you’d want for a day in the sun. If you’re put off by seeing so many people here, don’t worry. I found an easy solution.
So yes, Coral Beach is a fairly obvious beach to come to, you’ve got your parasols your water sports, your deckchairs.

Singapore Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
Singapore – an island city-state that has blossomed into one of the world’s great global cities. Getting to know this pocket powerhouse is a must for travelers seeking the blend between energy and tradition.
When ready, browse vacation packages to Singapore: https://www.expedia.com/Singapore.d180027.Destination-Travel-Guides
Small and heavily populated, #Singapore is an easy place to #explore; nothing in the city is more than an hour from the business district. Thanks to modern construction and outstanding architecture, Singapore is rapidly becoming a powerhouse trade city, but it maintains ties to its Asian roots through traditional temples and many cultural hotspots.
Your Singapore #tour must include the Botanical Gardens and Orchid Gardens, both beautiful and notable places to visit. If you’re a fan of exotic animals, stop by the Singapore Zoo and check in with its 300-plus species. You can also take a “bumboat” from Changi Beach to Pulau Ubin, set away from the bustling city, and delight in its quiet mangroves.
No Singapore #vacation is complete without a visit to Marina Bay, a glowing, high-tech vision of the future, or Orchard Road, which boasts enough shopping to keep you occupied for several rainy afternoons.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

10 interesting facts about Iceland 4k. #4k #iceland #travel #relaxingmusic
The country with the most wrong name, or 10 interesting facts about Iceland
1. Paradoxical name
The name of the island translates as "ice country". Ironically, the name of neighboring Greenland means "green land". These names would change, and there would be a complete correspondence to the climate of each island. And so it turns out that a country where glaciers occupy only 11% of the territory is called icy, and Greenland, in which greenery grows on barely 15% of the entire territory, is called green.
2. Even climate
The climate of Iceland is what is called "winter and summer in the same color". Icelanders can wear the same clothes all year round. And all because winter is warm here (the temperature rarely drops below -5 ° C), and summer, on the contrary, is cold (the maximum you can count on is +22 ° C). But you won't feel the heat in any case – the wind on the island is incredibly strong and blows all year round. Therefore, a hat on the head is an indispensable part of every Icelander's clothing.
3. Only a quarter of the territory is habitable
Iceland is the largest volcanic island in the world. Active, dormant and extinct volcanoes occupy more than half of the territory. The entire middle of the island is a deserted and uninhabitable area. People are settled only along the coast and the valleys of the mountains adjacent to the coastline.
4. There are no mosquitoes and trees in Iceland
The reason for the absence of mosquitoes on the island is extremely simple – mosquitoes simply do not have time to complete their life cycle in conditions of sharp and frequent weather changes. Well, what is not a paradise for a typical middle-class Russian.
And as for the trees, there are very, very few of them. In the middle of the island, they do not grow due to volcanic activity and the specific composition of the soil. And there are no trees in the relatively rich and fertile coastal part because they were cut down by the Vikings in the Middle Ages, so they still cannot grow. The Government of the country is, of course, making every effort to restore the forest cover, but so far without success.
5. Unique nature
Nature is the main treasure of Iceland. Everyone has heard about geysers. The most famous of them, the Great Geysir, just gave the name to all the hot springs of the planet. The concentration of volcanoes per unit of the island's territory is impressive. And what names do these volcanoes have! Eyjafjallajekull alone, who caused a stir throughout Europe in 2010, is worth it. The pride of the country and the dream of any tourist is also a unique geothermal lake "Blue Lagoon", a huge pool of hot water in the middle of a lava field, the temperature in which is +37 ° C all year round.
6. High life rate
Icelanders, along with the Japanese, are the main centenarians of the planet. 83.2 years is the average life expectancy in Iceland, and this is a very decent result. Only the Japanese live longer – 84.4 years. Interestingly, the Icelanders themselves cannot explain the reason for their longevity. But scientists are inclined to two factors that are the same in Japan as in Iceland. The first is the climate due to the fact that it is an island. The second is a fish–rich diet.
